I’m officially a Nuvali lot owner (finally!)

Been waiting for my lot to be turned over since October– am so glad it finally happened yesterday.

The Turnover team of Avida cordoned off the lot to show the corner boundaries or “muhon” of the property.

Every new lot or homeowner goes home with an Avida kit with the acceptance documents, construction guidelines (including a design and pattern booklet), amenities summary, deed of restrictions, and a briefer on the Nuvali Evoling lifestyle. What I wasn’t expecting was a housewarming gift to go with it all (what a pleasant surprise!).

Was so happy when I left the property manager’s office–I felt like I’d completed a critical rite of passage and just wanted to smile a big smile and shake everybody and anybody’s hands!

This blue e-transport was parked outside the office, and I felt a tug to pose next to it, as if I was getting warm congratulations from a dear friend (more on the e-taxicle later).

Any guesses what’s in that brown box? :)

Thanks to Crisi for being my witness to this exciting milestone in my life!

It’s a key holder. Sorry but I saw that in someone else’s turnover pictures.

Congratulations! When will you start construction? By the way, what phase are you located?

Thank you! Are you also building soon? :) Plan to start by early February…I just hope the permit process goes smoothly!

Awesome! finding your site and reading your posts made my day. I bought a lot there and has been struggling to see photos of how the site looks now.

Hope to see more updates on your dream house. I don’t know but there’s something fulfilling about seeing someone get closer to realizing a goal similar to yours.

    All the best!

Wow, thanks for the happy vibes. :) :) It’s also very reassuring for me to find others who are in the same boat as I am– eager to build sustainably and to live simple, “green” everydays.

Do share your adventures as well if able!

I recently bought a lot in Parkway settings. My broker told me Parkway will follow the same restrictions as Settings. May I know if they have maximum requirement for floor area, example if you have a 180sqm lot. And is it true that they have limit as well to the height, up to 9 meters only?

Congratulations on your lot! We’ll still be neighbors in Parkway:)

Minimum easements for Settings are 3m in front, 2m at the sides and rear. You’re allowed to abut (sumagad) on one side and half of the back. If your lot is a corner lot, what I understand is you’ll need 3m on both sides fronting the street.
Height limit is 9m from the highest point of your lot :)
