Of windows and the quiet

Finally have windows!

The decision to upgrade to PVC windows (vs. aluminum) set construction/finishing back nearly another month, but after seeing them installed firsthand today, I’m glad I switched.   Best gift is the quiet — I literally have the option of shutting out everything, even white noise.

White noise in the neighborhood is more than welcome though (so far), what with cricket chirrs and birdcalls comprising the chorus.

Well-lit and lived in. Perhaps the right word is friendly. :)

I stood outside the house tonight and felt the same calm I’ve come to expect from quiet evenings in Tagaytay– really excited for the peace and quiet everyday. Sooner than soon please!

    hi there joanna.  i like the facade and looks different among the houses there.  sad that we will not be neighbours soon.  i decided to buy a condo unit instead.  i am thinking of avida sanlo since its near my office.  mahal na kasi gas and toll fee.  plus the time wasted in travelling.

      Hi Rodger, I think our homes necessarily change as our lifestyles change… and condo living can be just as enjoyable as living in a house, it’s really up to us to build a home wherever we end up. :)  Good luck with the condo!
